From the bright-branded corner chain and the locals-only coffee shop to the
handsomely-packaged rows of custom blends that line the shelves of your
specialty grocer - these days there’s not much filtering the growth of the
coffee industry.
As part of the third wave of coffee roasters, Coffee Afficonado has set
its sights on one specific goal: to bring you the best-tasting cup of
coffee.
Now, while that may sound like everyone’s bag, the truth is, you can’t be a
pioneer in great tasting coffee if you’re not always on the
pursuit of perfection in the cup.
Some companies are spearheading great industry initiatives by highlighting
the importance of direct trade and fair trade or the value of traceability and
the certified organic stamp. Not only do we thoroughly support their efforts,
but we seek to incorporate these processes into our blends whenever we can
- without jeopardizing the taste, quality or value of our coffee.
The difference is, there are some companies willing to use a sub-par Arabica
in order to make these claims. Others will use lackluster beans from lesser
known regions in order to market ‘exotic’ coffee blends with ‘distinct’
flavors.
Hey, ‘exotic’ is cool - if that’s what you’re into.
But Coffee Afficionado is about making the best-tasting coffee.
